Documents
Deflock Broward summarizes and links to primary sources. The original files are hosted in a public archive for transparency and integrity.
Where the originals live
The canonical archive of original files is hosted on GitHub by South Florida Privacy Advocates: ALPR-RECORDS.
DFB pages (like the Weston page) are meant to be readable and action-oriented. The archive is meant to be complete and verifiable.
Browse on DFB
Start here if you want the short, guided summary with key questions and policy asks.
Browse raw originals (power users)
Use these if you want the full record set, including files not yet summarized on the DFB site.
How to verify a claim
- Each city page includes a “Primary documents” box linking to the original resolutions/minutes/records used.
- The GitHub archive is the source of truth for originals; DFB links directly into that archive.
- If you see a claim on DFB without a clear path to a primary document, flag it.
Contribute documents
The archive is maintained publicly on GitHub. If you have relevant public records (emails, memos, invoices, contracts, policies, deployment maps), submit them via pull request.
This keeps provenance clear and preserves documents transparently, with revision history and public accountability.
